Well, Chris didn't get first in his class ... he had to settle for second with a total of 99.17% in the class. He has earned the Army's version of Distinguished Graduate. I could not be prouder of him and especially after all everything that has happened in Minot recently it's great for Chris to have the opportunity to prove that he's better than that and pass with flying colors.
Tomorrow morning is his graduation and then he hops back on a flight to come home until Sept. 2nd.
Also, Chris' sister Missy is back from Italy today and I'm SO happy. I hope she will be able to get up here soon for a visit; I've missed her very much.

Only 99.17? Ah too bad. Well maybe you'll be able to show your face again some day. :)
