We have one big tree in our front yard that drops all it's leaves. David and I went outside yesterday after his THREE HOUR NAP (YIPPEE!!) and raked the leaves. A neighbor gave us a big bucket of sidewalk chalk and that sits in the garage next to the rake so when I have to do chores David can draw on the sidewalk.

David likes to try to rake the leaves. He's actually pretty good at it. Do I need to start an allowance?

The outdoor activity that gets the most giggles is running into a leaf pile.

Here is David's serious face. He's trying to give me leaves to throw at him.

I know I'm biased, but really, could he be any cuter?

Here is David with our scarecrow. I tried to get a picture of David smiling with the scarecrow, but he wasn't having it. I thought the scarecrow might fascinate David, but for the most part David completely ignores him.
The video below is David playing with the chalk. I think for the most part I repeat everything David says - during the last couple of weeks David has been talking more and using more simple sentences. I found my mouth
gawping open at least once a day at something that David says or does.
