David gets a booster seat

Yesterday David and I went to town and, among other things, we bought him a booster seat so that he can sit at the dining room table. I took the booster seat out last night after dinner to inspect it and David started playing with the box. He turned it into a slide. The video below is David going down his new slide. :-)

This morning David sat at the table to eat breakfast. He seemed to really enjoy the novelty of sitting with Mommy at the table. I think his favorite part was his Finding Nemo place mat. He didn't really eat any of his breakfast, but I blame that on teething.

On a separate note, we've been able to talk to Chris via instant messenger and web cam about twice a day now. There's a lot of lag in the conversations sometimes because other people are using the same bandwidth, but it's still great to hear his voice and see him. Chris and David played peekaboo via web cam on Sunday which was heartwrenching and sweet. He is still in Baghdad getting specific training and will not stay there for the whole deployment.
