Chris' parents made the long drive from Northern California to watch David here at our home, so that I could go with Chris to Las Vegas! What awesome grandparents! We're SO thankful to them for our time together!
Chris, Dave, and Janelle at Strip Steak (Mike Mina's restaurant in Mandalay Bay).
Chris and I in the lobby of our hotel, the Trump International, which I would totally recommend to anyone wanting to stay on the Strip. There's no gambling and no smoking, so it's a nice, clean, and quiet hotel (and reasonably priced too!).
A close-up of Chris and I.
Chris and I with his college friends at the Weapons School graduation at the Flamingo: Dave, Laura, Sean, Suzanne, and Charlie (the graduate!). Although the graduation ceremony was pretty darn long we were so honored to be able to attend and listen to the guest speaker - General North.
The morning after graduation, Chris and I with Janelle, Dave, Suzanne and Laura.
Chris and I by a waterfall outside the Wynn.
Beautiful Christmas decorations inside the transition between the Wynn and the Venetian.
Me (32+ weeks pregnant!) standing in front of the decorations which included a cranberry bog!
This was the hotel we stayed in, the Trump International.
The last night Chris and I were the only ones left in Las Vegas so we decided to go over to the M Resort, about 10 miles down from the Strip, and have dinner and see a show. We had dinner (and, as you can see from the above picture, dessert) at Terzetto, their steakhouse. This traditional chocolate cake was in the top 3 I've ever tasted in my life! Afterward we saw a group called Bowfire put on a Christmas concert. Bowfire was composed of six violins, one Chinese Erhu, a keyboard, a guitar, a drum, a bass, and a cello. Three of the violinists were also tap or step dancers and a couple were also singers. It was a great way to get into the spirit of the season and a great way to end our time in Las Vegas!
