What David Learned Yesterday

I was thinking to myself while making dinner last night about what David learned during the course of the day. Not the big things, the Rules, so to speak, but all the little things about getting along in a family and in the world that his brain must absorb during the course of the day. Here are some examples that made me laugh:

  • When Mommy says get a long-sleeved shirt, a short-sleeved one won't do.
  • Although he may think he is Buzz Lightyear, he does not have an anti-gravity belt and can get hurt while jumping off his bed (no serious damage, except to his ego).
  • Zucchini is a vegetable and it has seeds.
  • Sometimes little brothers like quiet roars better than loud ones.
  • If you let Timmy put your fingers in his mouth, he will bite them.
  • Although he may think he is Buzz Lightyear, if he doesn't get a move on Mommy and Timmy are going to the car without him.
  • I can swim in the deep end of the pool while wearing a life vest!
  • If I just used the toilet, I won't have anymore to empty into it if I try again immediately afterward.
  • Although he may think he is Buzz Lightyear, Mommy does not want to be addressed as "Jessie."

LOL, I love it! What a great idea for a post, adorable! :) I'm guessing there has been some major Toy Story viewing going on in your home? ;)

Lol! YES! Toy Story 2 is the favorite, I'm guessing he watches it 2-3 times a week.
