Quote of the Week - May 24, 2010
David and I were cuddling on the couch this weekend and he asked me, "Momma, are you my sweetheart?" "No, honey, I'm Daddy's sweetheart." "Oh .... Is Nana my sweetheart?" "No, Nana is Papa's sweetheart." "Oh. I need a sweetheart."
LOL, I love it! Nothing like trying to explain relationships to a kid ;) My favorite was a kid I worked with whose other therapist had just gotten married (I was miserably single at the time). We're out on a walk together and I'm trying to explain husbands and wives, when he asks me, "Why don't you have a husband?" I had no answer. I almost cried ;)
