Chris' New Career

If Chris ever decides to get out of the Air Force he's got a second career waiting for him ... as a barber!
Chris and I have both been saying for months now that we could do as good a job at home cutting David's hair as any barber and save ourselves $10 a month in the process. So, last week we tried out the idea with Chris' trimmer.

At first David was a little nervous about what was going on. As you can see Chris decided that for easy clean-up (and easy pinning David in one place) the shower would be the best place to work.
Midway through David was doing pretty good. Towards the end though he was ready for the task to be over!
Here's David after Chris had finished, trying to remove all the fallen hair off his neck. I get itchy just looking at this photo!

Overall the hair cut was a great success, but it took a long time to do. David's hair is so fine and Chris' trimmer wasn't meant for that purpose, so yesterday we bought an actual hair cutting kit. I think we might try it out later this week just to even out the first try.
