David really enjoys our routines, like most toddlers. He knows what is going to happen next during certain parts of our day and he loves it. One of our routines is that we clean up all the toys in the living room before David goes upstairs to take his afternoon nap and before he goes to bed. He really is a big help. He runs all over the room find all the toys that have gotten put down everywhere and bringing them over to his toy organizer (a small bookcase with some tubs on it).
Last night I told him it was time to clean up and he said "YEAH!!! Clean up!!!" and went running into the living room to get all his toys. When we were finished he congratulated himself "Yeah!! All clean up!" For those of you who know Chris, I imagine that this is what he was like when he was little :-)
Another random David story...
This morning he was walking downstairs, looked up, and saw a picture of himself as a baby hanging on the wall. He pointed at it and said to me "That David! That me! That David!!" It was so cute and also, the first time he's ever used the word "me" that I know of.
