I didn't write a day 14. I was too busy having fun and teaching little kids about being thankful! I co-teach David's pre-K Sunday School class (Catholics call it Catechism, but I still haven't gotten use to that, and "catechism" is a big mouthful for little kids to say!). This was the last time we'll meet before Thanksgiving, so the lesson was about being thankful for all the blessings that God has given us. I loved listening to what the kids were thankful for! Such simple, straight-forward things that I wouldn't even think about!
Orange juice.
Medicine to make a tummy stop rumbling.
Giraffes.
Love it!

So, that was yesterday.
Today, I am grateful that I finally found a walking route to and from David's preschool that avoids bees and has crosswalks at all intersections with those dips to and from the street so that I don't have to drag the stroller over curbs!
The first trail I used dumped me into a water drainage area that had no dips and I had to jump the curb with the stroller and walk in the water to cross the street. My shoes and socks got wet. Yuck.
The next trail I used had a two block section that was right next to a flowering bushes, which means I had to walk next to bees for two blocks. No way I was doing that again! I don't know if David's allergic to bee stings and I'd rather not find out experiment with it.
I finally found a trail today that cut through a greenway between another neighborhood. All along the greenway there are little parks and playgrounds. It was really lovely.
