Swimming Lessons

I think I've found our deal of the summer - swimming lessons for David! For $25 David gets eight 30 minute lessons (followed by 30 minutes of supervised free time for just the students in that lesson) at the base pool. The best part .... since I can't be in the water with him (because I've got Timmy to care for) they assign a lifeguard to do the entire lesson with him. So, basically he gets four hours with a lifeguard for $25!
He is half way through his lessons and absolutely loves being in the water. He's about a year to two years younger than most of the kids in his class, but I think he's doing really well for his age.
It's all really simple stuff, kicking, moving their arms, blowing bubbles, etc. David loves it all .... except for floating on his back.
Here's a couple of pictures of David's swimming experience. (I won't be posting pictures of the actual lesson because I don't have permission from all the parents.)

David's swimming suit (both the top and the bottom are UV protected material ... great for our pale boy!)

David chasing after his water ball. The half of the pool he is in is a foot and a half deep. The other half, separated by the fence, is three feet deep.

He loves the pool.
