I realized yesterday that we're about halfway through the time that Chris will be gone. Not half way through the deployment, but half way through the deployment plus all the time he was gone training beforehand. He's been gone four months: August, September, October and November. Now we have to get through December, January, February, and March and then he'll come home, hopefully, before April is midway through.
Although I'm not overly excited that I've made it to this point, I'm not jumping up and down or having any parties, I'm also not daunted by the thought. I've found it encouraging to know that I'm doing okay, time is passing and will continue to pass.
